Atarah is an Indian private limited company, established on 31 May 2018 and based in Thirunindravur, Tiruvallur district, Tamil Nadu. Its role is specific: to give international businesses an Indian operating platform through which they can establish and manage dedicated teams without independently building all the supporting infrastructure and administrative functions in India.
International businesses enter into service agreements directly with Atarah. Under this arrangement, a foreign client does not necessarily need to establish its own Indian subsidiary to access the workforce and services provided through Atarah.

How the arrangement works
The client defines its business objectives, determines employee responsibilities, assigns daily tasks, sets work priorities and provides technical and functional supervision. Atarah provides the Indian employment and administrative framework, coordinates recruitment and onboarding, handles agreed employment documentation, processes payroll, coordinates Indian HR administration, supports applicable Indian employment compliance, provides accounting and financial administration, arranges office and technology infrastructure, and coordinates local administrative requirements.
